I guess I still anticipate each new release. I thought Autodesk did as well. I have been told by more than one reseller that they often get little more advanced notice that users. Even at that, I would expect that resellers would have emails drafted and ready to blast as soon the NDA embargo lifted. I guess we will see.
I down loaded and installed as a short break from finishing taxes. I really did not do much more that read the what's new information, which I can't find now and look at the Autodesk Batch Save Utility.
First Impression? To be fair to Autodesk, we really need to look from major release to major release. The 2019 what's new is 2018.1, 2018.2 and 2019. Shared views and drawing compare are significant, but were already revealed with AutoCAD 2019. The high/low point constrained vertical curves and Batch Save Utility are about the only things we have not seem before. Perhaps they have been laying the ground for things to come.
The improvements made are not extensive, and in this case not very applicable to my work. That does not mean that the are not valuable. I accept that and take it into account, but I'm still not very impressed ... or excited.
That's just my opinion. You mileage may vary.
