Arrangement of sleeper during railway project

I'm developing a Dynamo script to place sleepers along a railway alignment, but I'm having trouble getting the sleepers to orient perpendicular to the track axis.
I've managed to position the sleepers along the path, but their rotation/orientation isn't aligning correctly — they don't stay perpendicular to the alignment curve. I'll share my script below for reference. Any tips or corrections would be greatly appreciated!

My first thought too was an AutCAD ARRAYPATH for this.

Another option would be to make an alignment label style that uses a block for the sleeper and apply it at the desired interval.
