catchment area data in inlet

Hi, So I exported the drainage pipe network to XML.  Having a pipe network includes information of the catchment area and inlet and possibly a junction structure in some cases.  I then imported the xml file in StormCad for analysis.  The inlet structures, however, came out as manholes in Stormcad, which I had to morph into Catch Basin type. Catch basin is sort of like an inlet.

A little background, in Civil 3D, the inlet structure is referenced in the catchment area properties but the catchment area is not referenced in the inlet structure properties.  In other words, the inlet is identified as the structure where the catchment area drains to.  However, the inlet does not reference the catchment area that its draining.  Perhaps, if the inlet properties in Civil 3D would include the catchment area, then it also gets exported into XML.  And then I can bring the data in StormCad for analysis.

Bottom line is I need to be able to export into XML not just the pipe network, but also the catchment area information.   The analysis in stormcad won't mean anything without this piece of information.  One way to resolve this is for me to key in the areas in each of the inlets, aside from morphing each manhole into a catchbasin or inlet.

Why the xml export? Directly edit in storm cad from the ribbon?

I forgot to mention the following:  I am using version 2016.  Also, I first export to a .stm file under the Analyze tab, Edit in Storm Sewers button.  This opens the Hydraflow Storm Sewers Extension for Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D subprogram.  I can key in the catchment area information here and then export to land xml file, or I can export to landxml first and then open it in storm cad and do the morph and edit there.

Sorry, but I do not have SSA feature installed.  So, is that the main reason the data of the catchment area does not follow into the storm cad?
