Do you need the horizontal distance of the cut/fill areas?  Then you can just measure with the DI command.

If you are looking for the *volume* of the cut and fill you need to create a Volume Surface with the EG as the base and the proposed surface as the comparison.

YES, I need Length, i need Automated Process, Because  Section No. is so much. using DI(command) is so Time-consuming, TNX. my Clint use this length to Payment of bed preparation item, In addition to the Volume Pay Item.

@MWT2003

I am assuming you are using Corridor model,

My suggested workflow would be to use a combination of the Civil 3D Featureline reports and MS Excel. featureline  report will Export an Excel featurelines (either DaylightCut or Daylight Fill) report  at the specified intervals, say 10m. In excel filter out for example the chainages that have a value for Daylight-Cut, then add up the chainage intervals to achieve your length of Cut. Do the a similar exercise for Fill.

I have created an a video (https://autode.sk/3pMkj3U) to show you how to run the report (just in case you need one). The rest is up to your MS excel expertise. The report I created in the video is also attached for your reference.

That is the workflow I thought could help

@MWT2003

Any chance of you providing some data in the form of a .dwg -  even if it's just the sections?

I've attached your file with what I *think* you are after - but I believe that the solution provided by @L3GO-Ed is the out-of-the box way to go.

My Calc'd Total Fill Length: 391.43 m

My Calc'd Total Cut Length: 383.04 m

(Analysis compute time: 4.4 seconds)

That's based on what's in the file I recommend you go the Excel Route - or PM me if you want the alternative solution.

@MWT2003

Yeah, I did some rule-based analysis on the geometry from your file.

Does that drawing look like what you want?
