C3D - Settings for Pressure Pipe Network

Hi all,

I am in the process of revising our designed C3D drawings to reflect the as-built conditions, and I’m running into an issue with the pressure pipe network. The design intent pressure pipes do not align with the actual construction, and I’m having difficulty turning off or freezing/hiding these design intent pipes without removing or deleting the data shortcut.

I’ve already checked both the "Layer Properties" and the "Display" settings under the "Pressure Pipe Style," but the design intent pressure pipes are still visible in the plan view.

Can anyone suggest a workaround to either freeze or hide the design intent pressure pipes while still keeping the data in place for reference?

The screenshot below shows the design intent pipes in blue while the as-built conditions are in red.

I hope my question is clear — this is the best way I could think of to explain the issue.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Of the top of my head, I might consider using a suffix or prefix for the proposed and as-built pipe runs using the Drawing Settings Object Layers tab. I do this for Alignments so that all objects related to that alignment go to a layer for that road. Since you have a drawing with the proposed existing you just need to create the suffix modifier setting for the as-built condition.
