C3D 2025 not plotting points from csv file

Our company has just recently updated to from Civil 3D 2023 to 2025. When I plot using DWG to PDF (same thing we were using in 2023) It won't plot any points from a csv file. Everything shows correctly in the print preview, but after plotting and opening the PDF, the points are gone. My work-around is to plot using Bluebeam PDF, however this is not an ideal solution as we prefer to use one of the full bleed options and that is not available in Bluebeam PDF.

I have opened the same drawing in the 2023 version and it will plot correctly. I have changed all of my settings to mirror the 2023 settings and even went to the 2025 options-files- and changed all of those options to the CD3 2023 folder to try to find the error.

If I am in 2025 and create an point manually with the same point styles, it will plot using DWG to PDF so this tells me there is some issue with only they points imported from a csv.

Is this a 2025 error that needs to be corrected or is there an setting that has been added to 2025 that is not in 2023 that I am missing?

Sounds very strange. Have you installed the Civil 3D 2025.2.2? Are you using a new Template for 2025? It sounds like it might be connected to your Description Keys. I can't think of any other way the program could distinguish between imported points and those created in the drawing.

You may end up having to start a support request with Autodesk.

Updating the template worked! Thank you for that suggestion.

@00KKS00 Glad it worked out for you. As you could tell. I was just throwing out ideas that I thought might work.

I have a follow up question. Updating the template will work for any new drawings. But if I use 2025 and try to plot a drawing created with the older template, it will still not show the points. Is there anyway to update my older drawings with my new template?

I have tried importing the new template into an older drawing, but that didn't work.

Start a new drawing from the updated template. In the old drawing make sure all the layers are on, thawed and unlocked. Copy everything by selecting ALL. Paste into the newly created drawing.

If you have problems with Xrefs and Drefs. Try inserting the whole drawing into the new template.
