c3d 2017 geomap messed up.

ever since i loaded c3d 2017 geomap has not worked right. if i log into 2016 i have to relogin to a360. then when i get back into 2017 i have to log in again.  i have tried several things found in the discusion group from deleting files in the user dir, to reinstalling c3d, to running a batch file that changes registry entries. often things appear to be fixes until i get out of the dwg and get back in.

often i login to a360 and geomap shows up and then a couple seconds later it says i am logged out.

if i pull up a dwg in acad map all works well with no problems ever.

this must be some kind of civil3d registry or software setting problem i suspect.

My name is Pat and I am with Autodesk Technical Support.  This is most likely an A360 error.  On the start tab for 2017 when you start it up, what does it say for your a360 login?

sometimes it asks me to log in and other times it says it is logged in
and shows my email address in the top bar but geomap will not function
and when i log out and log back in to a360 geomap comes up for a few
seconds and then goes out with some kind of of error message saying must
log in to get images.

when i go to something else like map or c3d2017 to c3d2016 i often have
to log in because i switched versions i guess.

it is frustrating having to spend several minutes a few times a day
getting things to work.

It should not do that.  Try clearing your login information and then resigning in.  Follow this link here for a step by step of how to do that.

i did that and pulled up c3d 2017 and loged in to a360 and it worked 1
time as usual.

i got out of c3d 2017 and got back in and was forced to log in again
then my name showed up at the top but at the bottom it said,
"disconnected from acad maps." if i relogin maps show up for a couple
seconds then disappear and the disconnected message shows up again.

What does it say on the A360 portion on the start tab in Civil 3D each time you log in?

so today it works when on friday it did not. maybe it is fixed now but
i have done the action of deleting the web services dir about 4 or 5
times in the past 6 months. we shall see....

so yesterday things worked and today i get the message "disconnected

maybe i can make a batch file that deletes the web services dir in one
click...
