What happens? Does it give an error, does nothing or something else?  If using the SSM are you using the Publish to PDF?

We ran into this issue shortly after installing 2024. We installed both AutoCAD and Civil 3D. If you are in Civil 3D and publish in the background, it will open AutoCAD to do the publishing. If AutoCAD isn't set up for the correct search paths for plotting, it may not plot correctly (or in your case, at all). For us, it couldn't find out .stb files so everything was plotting in color. Setting the search paths in AutoCAD remedied that for us.

@BrianHailey, I appreciate your response; however, both my workstation ad my colleague's are set up the same.  I can batch plot, and he cannot.  We are using Civil 3D 2022.  AutoCAD 2022 has not been set up with our company profile; only Civil 3D 2022 has.  AutoCADD 2022 is not set up for either of us.

I can't think of anything else. You might want to try posting this in the AutoCAD forum as well as it might be an AutoCAD issue and not specific to C3D.

Good chance their system is not pointing to the same plot cfg/ pen files location as your system.

This will be particularly evident on workstations with both c3d and vanilla acad

@Joe-Bouza ,

      I've already verified not only the path file locations but also the files in that location...

@Joe-Bouza @BrianHailey @user181 ,

I have logged on to my colleagues pc and I am able to batch plot with the same civil 3d profile.  I am at a loss...

try turning off background plotting on the offending machine. This has fixed similar issues for me.

Usually it will plot then I can go back to background

Just had this issue on Civil 3D 2025.  C3D was using AutoCAD to Publish/Batchplot in the background.  Switched the AutoCAD search path to match our C3D path and it all worked perfectly.

Thanks Brian!
