Background mask color doesn't change! (photo attached)

I'm trying to get rid of the dark background mask for contour labels. I've attached the settings.

Hi,

Just above the color select option you have the option to remove background mask. Set the value to FALSE.

Hi @Reza-WE  The mask turns dark like that if there is a transparency set on the layer assigned to the label in the label style. find the layer for your labels and set the transparency of that layer to 0 in the layer properties manager.

I need the mask. If I turn it off, it will show the contour line behind the text.

You are right. I set transparency to 0 for alignment and feature line labels and it fixed it. Thanks
