Autocad civil 3d 2018 and Autocad 2018 have a common launcher

I install autocad 2018 and autocad civil 3d 2018, they have the same launcher location with a common icon called acad.exe, if i lost the autocad civil 3d desktop shortcut icons how can i get them back?

Dear Friend,

If you are using Windows 7 OS you can click on the start button and at the search you can type Civil 3D. Then it will show all available versions.

Right click on any version you need to create a short cut.

In the menu go to Send To.

Choose Desktop (Create Shortcut)

Same can be apply if you search for auto cad by changing words.

And follow similar search procedure if you are using windows 8 or above.

Thanks

Make sure you have ticked created desktop shortcut during install. This can be added under modifying the program in the control panel
