Alignment selection via command

Hi All,

          I  have multiple alignments in my drawing eg. M001-M621_ML_GC10, I am looking for autocad command to select Alignment in the drawing with input name. can any one please help me out..

I don’t believe there is.  However, go to toolspace, expand alignments select your alignment by name and on the right click menu is select and zoom to

Dear Friend,

Instead of command line you can go through quick select of right click menu. 

I am not sure how easy it is, but you can select an alignment by typing its name from this. Please refer the image.

yes, it's possible with a Civil 3D command, 2 differents ways:

1- right click in the screen and yoiu choose : Quick Select

2- or you type the command _qselect 

 

after that you have a dialog box :

- choose Type of object : Axis or alignment,

- choose Name

- type the name of alignment you want

- and then OK
