I change the alignment description in the Master file but the new description never makes it to the sheet file where I have the Alignment data referenced (data shortcut).
Seems like the pipes used to do this as well and they fixed that issue. Has this issue been resolved?
I have the same problem. I would think when a surface or alignment is data referenced the description would come from the original file. And if the description is modified in the original it would be updated in the refenced file, the same as if the geometry changed in the original. We encourage users to add meaningful description when creating or updating a surface or alignment. Loosing the description when data referencing an object kind of defeats the purpose.
I was hoping I was missing a setting or something.
