ADD LINES PERPENDICULAR TO MULTIPLE POLYLINES

Hi everyone. Attached is what i want to representate: lines to show the slope of the ground. I'm doing it by array path but there is so many that will take me years to finish. There is something for this?
This applies to Autocad 2d too, but im working on civil 3d so i think i has to post here.
Sorry for my english. and thank you all

One option would be to create a custom linetype using the MKLTYPE express tool. This would work for your 2d type work.

Now if you were working in C3D in 3D and created a tin surface you could set this up within the style to display the way you are requesting.
