Thanks for the info . Windes link found.

I will try the 2017 Kerb workaround.

No need to use the 2017 workaround Roy. The 2018 ones are there and just need importing. They are in the 2018 folder but Autodesk have changed the country folder from enu to eng

The enu folders are for the US English version and the eng folders are for the UK English version

Hello Ian,

I tried the process you suggested with the link and was eagerly looking forward to promotion and massive pay-rise when .... Horror! I do not have an 'eng' folder. I have added the UKIE content - it is there in the UKIE Design tool palette. What have I done wrong?

Hi Roy,

If you installed the English version as opposed to the British English then yours will be in the ENU folder.

Open top bus parade is still on the cards for you....

Where are you looking for the eng folder and have you installed the UK English version?

Hi!

Autodesk is still joking with the Swedish Country kit. Promised a few days into june but forgot to tell the year!

Regarding the Swedish CK... We had an issue with one of the components in the kit and this has delayed the kit. The team is actively working on a solution and then we'll be able to release it. We greatly apologize for the delay.

As a general statement, we are forming a plan to eliminate the lag in delivery of Country Kits going forward. I don't know if we'll get back to having the CKs included on the language versions of Civil 3D as this resulted in other issues, but we can certainly close the gap between global Civil 3D and the CK releases.

Thanks

The 2018 release has seen the biggest time gap between the main product release and the UKIE CK release..... and even then all the Layers are incorrect in terms of compliance with BS1192:2007

There is already a 2018 UKIE kit released that has some bugs (but still usable), an updated one is in the pipeline but no release date as of yet.

As long as your account is associated to your companies autodesk account you should be able to see it (and also as long as your contract is under subscription or maintenance)

Thanks it is under contract but not visible, had this issue before but the IT guy can get the file in need.  My network seat has restricted access levels so cant see the bit i need, probably need to get my account associated with the company account in some form.

So, how long before we see the 2019 Country kits, plus all the other add-ons?!!

It's being developed as we speak. I don't think a date has been set but I'm confident that it will arrive quicker than last year.
