Hi!

I made a mesh, and run a model, but can't find the information about the mesh size. I can see the amoutn of nodes and elements, but not the minimun mesh element, for example. Can i, some how, know the size of a particular element ?

Does anyone know ?

thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! You can find information on the mesh like fluid element count, solid element count, etc, in the Status File. This is located on the ribbon under results. I'm not sure if there's an exact way to identify the size (edge length, volume) of the largest and smallest elements. The Auto-meshing changes element size based on geometry. Figuring something like this out while using manual meshing would be a big more straightforward; the manual mesh is based on an element side length which is specified by the user. Please let me know what you think!

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous,

You are not missing anything. There is no direct way to look at an elements size.

I hope this helps clear things up!

Thanks,
