Average Velocity in a specific region in a specific plane using ANSYS CFD POST

Hello Experts,

I would like to find  Average velocity in a specific region in a specific plane using CFD post.

I have two parallel plates lying vertically at some distance with 200 mm gap. Flow comes and passes through these parallel plates. I would like to know the average velocity in between the plates. ie from top to bottom what is the average velocity?.

Is there any way I can find average velocity in CFD post.

Regards,

Hassan

Hi Hassan,

I'm not an expert but I think you can add a "Control Point" that monitors the average velocity; or even better you can define a "Plane". Check this out:
