Reconcile mismatch of published documents

In testing the publish feature on a multi-sheet PDF to the Plans specical folder, I overlooked that Docs interpreted a zero as an "O." There is no way to modify this mistake from within the interface. When uploading a revised PDF sheet from the set, I noticed that the selected Titleblock template I made read the zero as a zero the second time around. Now, there are two docs of the same sheet! Is there any plans in the roadmap to fix an oversight such as this. See my screen capture.

Hi Bill,

We have improved our OCR process and accuracy significantly since you posted this, and the "O" and "0" error rate has been greatly reduced.  We are also working on the ability to delete extracted sheets, which would allow you to delete the sheet with the error.  Even with these changes in place, there may still a need to edit the document name in some cases, so this request is a future consideration for the product roadmap.

If you have any other questions or suggestions, please let us know.

Best Regards,

Joan Allen

Hi,

The July 15 Docs release includes the ability to delete extracted sheets in Plans / Shop Drawings, so that you can now delete those drawings.  For more details, see the Release Notes.
