Procesed IFC file does not show all elements it contains

Hi,

We have an uploaded IFC file wich does not display all elements it contains (mainly rebar elements)

Native application is Tekla Structures 2016i. IFC Schema is 2X3.

When downloading and opening the file in Solibri, all elements are present.

Also opening the IFC file in Revit 2018.3 shows all elements.

Are there some settings we can provide to our sub to get better results in the BIM360 viewer?

Best regards

Hi @nic.maes,

I am sorry for late reply. I just want to let you now that I wasn't able to duplicate this behavior on my end (please see attached). I would suggest to clear your Google Chrome browser history and try again. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you and have a great day!

@anil_mistry

Can you please confirm that rebar is present in the walls in the Revit file and not in BIM360? As that is what i'm seeing.

The IFC File i send you on the A360 file has the same problem.

I don't see what Chrome's history has to do with how BIM360 parses IFC files.

@anil_mistry

Sorry to keep you bothering with this, but I do not see the rebar inside the precast walls.

Can you send me a bim360 link to your test? or a picture of the rebar mesh sheets in the wall?

For us this is important because subcontracters upload there files to bim360 and we want to look at the content without downloading the files and opening them in other software.

Thanks,

Best regards
