I had heard from a colleague that the Desktop Connector had a complete ground-up rebuild and it was released just before Autodesk AU.
I have researched product pages and updates and can't find any information that would confirm the rumour. We use mostly Advance Steel which doesn't seem to work well with the Desktop Connector currently.
If anybody has found any articles, updates or information about this application, I would be keen to get to the bottom of the rumours.
Yes, Autodesk have been working on redeveloping, but it's not been released yet. I cannot tell you when, but I attended a few classes which Autodesk people mentioned some enhancements coming soon.
