We have tried the same files in another folder and it works, there is some kind of an issue with this specific folder/files not accepting these files.

Hi,

Can you please check in your publish log if there's a previous upload of these files that is still processing? That could be one reason why you can't upload to that specific folder.

Thanks,

Ilai

Hi @Bnilath,

I just tried myself, and I couldn't reproduce this issue.

I uploaded these 4 pdf files in a subfolder of Plans, and here is the result:

in publish login publish log

As @ilai_rotbaein mentioned, if you uploaded the same file when the pervious version was still in processing, the second one would be failed.

If not, could you please provide more details like steps to help us to reproduce or add me into the folder which maintained errors?

Thanks in advance,

Zijing

When we replicate this issue in a test environment in our "training" project it works fine, we don't seem to have an existing spooling with the same files. Probably there is an earlier version already uploaded and the expected behaviour would be to version up rather than refuse to upload. This sub-folder is part of the project hierarchy and these files need to go exactly into this location.

Hi @Anonymous and @Bnilath,

Thanks for your reply. Please have a try to re-upload those PDF files and avoid that the pervious version is still uploading/processing before published in the same folder. If you could still reproduce this issue, please contact me.

Thanks,

Zijing

Hi asafaryan,

If the same file is still under Review step, the new upload can't generate a new version and will cause the kind of failure. Another "create" fail may cause by file lock.

Could you please hove the mouse to the red "!" markup and share us the error message?

Thanks and best regards,

Hi Bnilath,

The failure was not caused by the previous versions that have already finished the extraction and displayed on document list.

It was caused by the job has not finished the extraction and may be in the Review step. Could you please double check the Publish Log GUI? Are there any stuck job or job in Review state? If yes, please cancel them before uploading the same file.

Thanks and best regards,
