Docs Title block OCR error

I am having serious errors with Docs Title block OCR function. For a specific drawing set, fields are turning up empty, including the "title" for my drawings.

I thought this was a problem with special Icelandic characters but I found another drawing set that I used before (another architect) also with Icelandic characters and they still have no errors.

Hi Hannes,

I'm sorry that you are running into problems, but the OCR engine is not optimized for Icelandic characters (and Docs isn't localized in that language).  After looking at your example, I think that the reason the one field seemed to work properly is that the letters matched the English alphabet.  The fields that failed have special accented letters, which may have caused the errors.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I am working on some OCR topics and would like to get the original drawing if possible (or another with similar accented text) on so I can investigate further.

Hello Hannes

In the latest release we have based OCR on the browser language locale. So if yours is set to Icelandic the OCR should now work with the accented characters.

Unfortunately you didn't send your drawing for us to test so would you mind retrying please and let me know if it was successful?
