User-Management-System on ACC

Hi

The User-Management-System is far away from any state of the art user management system for any type of Collaboration, DMS and PDM-System... We miss many features (see few below):

 

1. Microsoft AD connection and sync the Microsoft AD-Groups, Users with ACC. No user needs to created manual (should be basic function). This AD-Groups we should map with ACC roles.

2. On ACC the Members should be on multiple groups/roles and not only on one (see picture). All state of the art role based system can do this.

3. On the ACC template project we can add the groups, but we need to add all user manual as a member on each project . If we create thousand different project and on our Company. We have few thousand user and we can't add all this user manual as a member (see picture). The user groups should be updated automatically by sync the AD-Groups otherwise we need to update the members on all project regularly manual. On a big company the members change all the times. The members must be updated with AD Groups on the ACC roles automatically.

Hi there!

The Admin Account Page has a lot of potential for streamlining management! Yes to #3 especially!

The ratio of BIM Admin to to BIM Users is somewhat skewed, so 1 request for management tools will be beat out by 10 requests for user functions. 

 

I'm tracking down posts that have a similar set of requests to mine to add votes - see link!

The function for add user or link AD-Groups and so on far away from any default user management possibility on known DMS, PDM, PLM and collaboration System. The BIM 360 Account Page has not the needed options.

Yea! Let's get some support for better management tools.

 

Some of the database tools/functionality is brewing under-the-hood. If you go to the main autodesk administrator page - you can see stats per user - but even there, it isn't reliable. I can see versions used by user, but it doesn't filter by "actual used" versions, just "forever used" which for older users doesn't help - since it will list out every version they've had since they were at the company.

Adding ability to search for default role would be helpful for us to manage memberships.
