Note: This workflow is already part of the Procore platform.
This proposed workflow would enable Build users to generate an RFI in a similar manner to how he or she would generate an issue inside the "Sheets" toolset. RFI’s generated in this manner would have a unique icon and be tracked as any other RFI generated within Build. The attached document contains markups associated with each step of the below workflow:
1. There would be a unique "RFI" icon in the markup toolbars
2. User places RFI icon in desired location
3. Once placed, the RFI pop-up window would open and the user would fill out RFI fields per usual. The RFI would be numbered automatically
4. The "RFI #XX" icon would remain highlighted on the sheet until the RFI is closed. When selected, the ACC RFI sidebar would appear as expected
5. Once closed, the "RFI #XX" icon would be greyed-out on the sheet similarly to a closed issue
The RFI’s generated within “Sheets” would be accessible and editable via the “RFI’s” toolset. The intent of this feature request is to provide an additional workflow for RFI generation and to leverage drawing sheets for better context and tracking purposes.
