It seems that in the Configuration/Display settings that Display Section Hatches is the only setting that is not retained for the user and needs to be reselected whenever a new window is opened. For a majority of the users in my group it is preferred to have this setting off for clarity. Can this setting be made retainable so it is kept on or off depending on the user's preference?
