This would be great for traditional field related activities like room sign-off checklists where you require multiple trade sign-offs. This functionality is imperative to be able to retrieve records from the system quickly, particularly if they are needing to retrieve these checklists at the point of construction quickly. Without this the user is reliant on knowing checklist name, or known location which doesn't lend itself well to projects with 000's of checklists.
This would save so much time and remove human error factor. We use this functionality with Classic Field with the Issue tool (QR Code for location). Users simply Scan the QR Code and only active issues assigned to their organisation linked & to that Location are viewed on their mobile device. This speeds up the filter process and eliminates active items/actions being overlooked.
Good idea, we currently copy paste the url of the checklist or document folder and convert that url to a qr code.
We print that QR code and stick it to one of your products in our manufacturing line.
For now this works quite well, but a direct link to a checklist of that custom type/model would certainly be more streamlined. Thus said, an QR/Barcode output of a BIM360 folder or checklist would also be appreciated.
