When marking up a sheet using any of the shapes/lines, once you finish the shape you need to reselect the shape between every markup. It does not stick/have a memory for the shape you just made. Markups do work this way when using the "Draw" tool only, but Draw is much more difficult to control using a mouse and the lines do not turn out neat.
