Downloading Photographs on BIM 360 Field
Currently there is no way to download multiple photos at once, only the ability to share the photo library with someone which gives them access to all photos which is not a practical solution when you wish someone to only see a select set of photos. Something should be implemented where you can select a number of photos from the photo library at once to download rather than having to do this individually.
I am in full support of this feature. We have a project that is at the closeout stage and the Owner has requested a downloaded copy of all of the photos that are in 360 Field. There needs to be a local export feature on the web interface to allow this. Also the share via email option is not applicable as most companies limit one email to a certain size and would get blocked if all photos for a project were sent.
Has any progress been made on adding this feature? Having the ability to download multiple photos, rather than only at a time, would save our job team valuable time. We could make a monthly download to keep progress photos on our local server for everyone in the company to view. As it stands now we are downloading when we sync then we have to connect the iPad to the computer and download them again to save them locally or on our project server.
Related - we want to be able to add photos - just take an SD card and put 500 random photos in the photo module - without creating a dummy checklist or photos....
