We want to import our checklists to Field Management (BIM360 NG) on hub level instead of having to manually create all the templates. However, following the instructions on the Help page, videos and template_sample.xls file for the import format, the options are quite limited in what can be set. Haven’t found a way to setup everything by a .xls file. The options currently found which still needs to be done manually for every checklist in FM are:
How to enable:
- “Allow adding section assignee”
- “Require Signatures on checklist completion”
How to add:
- a “Description” to the checklist template.
- Optional default answers
- Auto create issues when non conforming answers are given.
Was wondering if the Import function supports more columns and attributes which are not defined in the template_sample.xls. And which specific name has to be given to the column to get progressed.
Import in Field classic supports more attributes and functionality.
Acceptance criteria:
A complete checklist should be able to be imported via the import function of Field Management without having to manually enable signatures, turn on optional default answers and autocreate issues, etc, etc. per checklist.
