Create the ability to group/sort members in the Members Page of Project & Account Admin pages by Company. This will assist with locating and organizing Members.
I agree with this need. We would like the flexibility to add users to custom-defined groups (Similar to Active Directory Groups) that then could be assigned to Projects. In our use-case, we have an entire division that works together on various projects. Currently, we are required to add over a dozen members to a project individually. Preferably, we would like to assign the users to groups and just add the entire group to the project.
If you click on 'Company' / 'Default Company' from the top bar, it will organise the members so the companies are listed alphabetically, and in doing so all of the members up grouped together.
This is the same in both Project Admin and Account Admin.
Strangely, it doesn't look like it is possible in Project Admin to organise Members by Role.
How hard could this honestly be to implement? Nearly every email provider has this same function, why not BIM360? BIM360 is literally halfway there, as I can already group people by company, but that's as far as the functionality goes. It's very annoying to add 30 members to 15 different projects, and very easy to miss people when you need to add that many people to that many projects.
This is something we would also very much like to see. As @brad_buckles stated above, the ability to set up groups and then assign those groups to projects would be invaluable, and would vastly simplify project management.
This would need to be a live group, not just "adding this group adds all its members to the project". You want to be able to add members to a group once (in Account Admin) and know that they then have access to all projects that the group has access to. This should work just as AD groups do -- or groups in Vault.
Of course, would like to see this in ACC too, not just BIM 360.
