BIM 360 Field - Stuck in Sync? after critical errors

I got a error message during sync that an image had failed to upload. When I hit cancel sync, I get the message "cancelling sync - please wait'. It has been stuck like this over an hour. Will I loose all my work on the tablet if I cancel the program? I dont want to corrupt anything.. Any ideas?

While syncing the iPad using BIM 360 Field app, data does not upload
