Using BOSS editor will cause PC to enter error 41 blue screen of death (no real stress)

I have a ryzen 7 5800x and 64 gb of ram running a 850w 80 plus gold psu on 65 percent of power draw and everytime i use bifrost ocean simulator system my PC shuts down regardless of what i do, as solely opening BOSS and creating the spectral wave the PC shuts down, even if it's on a 16x16 plane on 6 subdivs

what's going on? what is Maya doing to trigger a hardware level conflict?

It def sounds more like a hardware issue than a Maya one.

of course, a blue screen of death is a hardware issue, but certain softwares trigger them whenever they strain certain components.

Error kernel 41 is related to the PSU, and despite it enters much more load in blender, PSB files over 16gb (photoshop) and during vray rendering in maya, it only triggers with bifrost boss. There is something in  boss plug-in that causes the CPU or the RAM to suddenly spike above the maximum the psu can handle and cause the PSU force a shutdown, making windows consequently blame it for the BSOD because the cpu and the RAM aren't failing, just spiking instantly at a random time.

For the record I can throw anything into Maya

anything except an over-30 percent white object to Vray or BOSS with two or more wave layers. Vray refuses to render but Maya keeps working. Boss thing? Hell nah, i get EK41 at any random time.

Try using the Boss solver in the graph and see if you get the same issue
