I created an Arnold Volume and connected my VDB from Bifrost but i cant see it in the viewport.
I connected an aistandardVolume shader and it does render fine with Arnold but still nothing in the Viewport.

Arnold aiVolume nodes never show anything else than the bounding box in the viewport, right? It does not matter which software wrote the VDB.

hmm maybe you are right and i used Bifrost to load the VDB.
Cause in this case i see it in the viewport.

For rendering, it's currently still faster to render using an aiVolume instead of directly from Bifrost, even when you read in a VDB in Bifrost. So when ready for rendering, it might be interesting to switch to an aiVolume. In the procedural cloud example scene, the aiVolume method is 2.5 - 3 times faster.
Marcus mentioned earlier, effort is put in making rendering a Bifrost volume -at least- just as fast as VDB.

I followed this simple tutorial....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-w8GPvw75rg&t=13s
However, when I rendered the vdb cloud didn't show up. It is there in the viewport. Strangely at my home computer the same thing results in my not seeing the open vdb cloud nor being able to render it.
Does it need to be 2019.2? At work we only have 2019

You need the latest Arnold version.

Hi,
does it have to be Arnold viewport, or does it work with vp2.0 too?
I can see the vdb in Arnold vp, but not yet in vp2.0

It looks like the vp2.0 rendering engine has to be DirectX 11, and it works.

I see it also in openGl Core profile.

Yes, you are right.
So to summarize, it works with DX11, OpenGL (Compatibility), OpenGL (Strict) rendering engines, but not with OpenGL - Legacy.

I'm still not seeing anything in my viewport. I tried DX11 but I see nothing. I'm on Maya 2020.3 and MtoA 4.0.41, Arnold Core 6.0.4.0.
I'm attaching my test file and a picture of my bifrost graph....is there something wrong with it?
