Bifrost MPM fluid for making mud

Bifrost MPM fluid. MPM fluid has more advantages in physical properties than FLIP fluid. MPM fluid can be viscous and elastic, while FLIP fluid cannot possess elastic characteristics.

Bruce somehow i cant get it working.

There are some .alembic files missing and nodes are disconnected.

If i hit play nothing happens.

You need to install the "point_color" node, which can be downloaded in the sharing community.

I have cancelled all the abc files and it should have no effect on the results.

Did you got the mud working?

I also did download the color_point node.  But I can not reconnect the node. 

How did you it, if yours is working.

Hi,
Have you tried the point_scope node? This is a tool for debugging point attributes, I hope it will help you.

Thanks Bruce, I opened your scene and found point_color is already
connected, but convert to volume is giving me error. The point_color is
fine. I know it is looking for some input.

Hi,

I don't think the point_color node is needed, so I can skip it. You can use points_to_volume and volume_to_mesh nodes to generate meshes for rendering.

It worked, wrangled a little bit with nodes and now sim works. It takes some time. I will complete the sim later.
