Bifrost liquid voxel colours not transferring to liquid mesh correctly

Hey All

I`m running a liquid simulation that uses vorticity to assign colours to voxels, i`m then using the Bifrost Meshing to create an object for alembic export. For some reason the vertex colours on the mesh arnt showing the same as the voxels regardless of which colour channel i have set. Any ideas what i`m doing wrong?

could you zip your scene file and attach it here please?

Sure, have added a zip.
I wonder if its just that the output is only in the red channel of the rgb of the vertex colours.

Thanks.

Apologies for the slow response on this.

I took a look at your scene and to be honest I wasn't quite sure if the color channel remap display settings would transfer or not. I don't think those remapped values transfer specifically to any given channel. If I set them I will get the same color ramp on the voriticy and velocity channels (or any other channel I switch to) so that leads me to believe that it is for VP display only.

Still uncertain with this, I reached out to dev and asked them to take a look at the code. From what I understand from their response it seems the Bifrost meshing uses the data on the volumes (the voxel data) and not the display data (which is what the remap display settings fall under). So currently it would seem we cannot use this data to transfer to the mesh.
