Hi,
I just wanted to test with full anticipation Maya 2020.4 with the latest Bifrost version 2.2.0.1.
I'm particularly interested in the new scatter_point node in this update, and I wanted to jump right into an example similar to the one in the Lights, Cameras, FX: Exploring What's Possible with Bifrost presentation.
Unfortunately, I get an error when creating the node (see screenshot).
Can anyone tell me if this is a user error or what I can do to get this to work?
Greetings,
Hermann

Same here. I get the same error and I am missing some nodes listed in the documentation, such as scatter_points_blue_noise.
Also I am not entirely shure, if there should also be a scatter pack section when pressing tab, which isn't there. I thought I have seen it before...

Works fine on my end when i simply connect polyPlane to scatter points node.
Also, blue noise is available under "Scatter Mode".

Blue noise is under scatter node indeed, but in the docs there is a seperate blue noise node. I don't know if it should be there or not.
FYI: The scatter node with those errors has a number of inputs at the bottom, which are listed seperately after properties dropdown. I can post a screenshot later.

Having issues with the scatter node also, as I'm following the Bifrost VP Masterclass. I may just be missing somthing, but all my errors look to be related to the scatter node, so posting here, hoping to find a solution. Thanks

here's the scatter node with errors. The graph is not edited. That's the default state of this node.

I am going to try it again. I found masterclasses confusing as many of them are made more than a year back. Some parameters have different names.

Ok, I found the issue.
I thought I had reinstalled everything cleanly, but I had forgotten the User Compound directory where an older version of Rebel Pack was installed.
This caused the error.
So if you have a similar problem, delete the user compounds.
