AD Desktop App showing no information

AD Desktop App does nothing on my system. In past it would show some things. At this point, however, it's always blank--and always runs a few instances of the Chromium host executable (acwebbrowser.exe) that take up an average of 70MB of memory. See attached screenshot.

I'm not 100% on when this started, but I think it may have started after installing 3ds Max beta installs.

I am having a similar issue of it not showing anything.  After uninstalling and reinstalling my 2018 software it now the app says I have no subscription or a product that is available.  But when I go the product support I have to relog into Autodesk which then shows my product I own.

Are you on subscription?

Sorry I am not able to help, but I am seeing more issues like this from other users I have helped over the year.

Good luck.

Hello@

Thanks for your feedback.

Please try this

  • Exit ADA(from system tray menu)
  • Stop AdAppMgr Service (Windows task Manager)
  • %Programdata% > Autodesk > Delete the “SDS” folder
  • Restart ADA.

Still you have problem, please try this,

Have you updated Autodesk desktop app recently?

I would like to know more about the issue. could you please send me the log files?

Please find the attachment for log file instructions.

Regards,

I tried the first part and now have 3dMax listed as my only software so
the rest of the ID Suite is ignored.  I will try again the uninstall and
install the latest versions again with no SDS directory.  It works on
the machine using Windows 10 but not the Windows 7 operating system.
Thank you
