Updates seem to fail

I have had a series of difficulties with my Autocad LT 2018, and it had been suggested I perform a reset, which I have done.  I opened the software today and saw I needed an update, so I clicked to install it and it opened an Autocad app (not sure of the names of the component parts) which appeared in my status bar with a blue-green script A icon. It seems to stall out in the process of launching, I have retried it several times.  Please advise.  I have attached the screenshots int he sequence I saw them, but they are numbered in reverse sequence.

The app that doesn't seem to fully load is the Desktop App.

I tried to install the version at this link and the error message was that it's an older version than I have.

Hello@chick.biker

Thanks for your feedback.

The screenshots looks like some  internet issues. Please check the internet connection.

The error message shows on Autodesk desktop app, may be due to missing sequence of updates to install.

Here is the article.
