Infraworks Installation ISSUE UPDATE

Greetings,

I am using a company equipment. I had a prompt for updating InfraWorks fro 2020 to 2021.

The installation required uninstalling the previous version (2020).

Once done (via Autodesk unistall utilities) the installation of the new version has GONE!

Thus I have got NO Infraworks on my computer!

Now I am about to install the trial version and will try to activate it by signing into my company accoount.

WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

Why on earth there is a prompt for updating whilst the action is not possible to be achieved?!

Than you in advance for any elucidation and avoiding this mess for the future.

Or shall I get rid of this piece of software called Autodesk Desktop App?

Everyone can get their updates (not what you got prompted) and newer software (What you actually did) from their Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/

You will find your newer IW2021 there if you are entitled to it. Or put back your IW2020. Whatever you want.

ADA is a nanny-service app for those that fear computers and websites and like to be told what to do when they don't need it: do you need a nanny app? It can be safely removed anytime.
