Have the following updates that fail, and cannot resolve:
AUTODESK Updates with unresolved installation errors:
1. 02-18-19: Infrastructure Parts Editor 2019.2 Update
Error: "Install Error 1603: Fatal error during installation."
Checked out "See More", tried some other tricks, nothing works, have updated to AutoCAD C3D 2020 since 2019 version when this started, but still get this update. Is this now an outdated update, and can it be deleted? If not, how do you get it to install? This update lingers on.
2. 11-04-19: Civil 3D 202.2 Update 64-Bit Update
Error: "There is an older version of this update already installed. Please remove the old version and try this installation again."
Typically, updates are to remove anything old automatically, then insatll te new update, however, since this appears to needs to be done manfully. Exactly how do you remove an old update?

Hi@sniemeyer,
Thanks for your feedback.
could you please send me the Autodesk desktop app log files?
Please find the attachment for log file instructions.
Regards,
Srinivas.
I've gathered all the log files and have zipped them up.
Hi@sniemeyer,
Thanks for the info.
I have checked the log files. Recently Civil 3D product team released an update but it has some critical issues and they expired that one and released new update with same name. so you already installed that expired update. could you please uninstall civil3D 2020.2 update from control panel and then try the following things and then install civil3D 2020.2 update from Autodesk desktop app.
Exit Autodesk desktop app(from system tray menu)
Stop AdAppMgr Service(task manager)
%Programdata% > Autodesk > Delete the “SDS” folder
Restart Autodesk desktop app.
Example:
Please let me know if it works.
Regards,
Srinivas.
Srinivas,
I've reattached my log files. Tried what you said in last post, and now will not go past initializing.
Srinivas,
Got it to start downloading past initializing, but same 2 mentioned errors still occurred. Another update (SHP...) did come in and it did download and install. Also, forgot to mention the Autodesk Civil3D 2020.1 was not on my list to uninstall.
Hi, i've got the same problem : a merror message i try the solution below and don't know to do next.
thank you for helping
The Civil 3D update disappeared, never installed. Infrastructure Parts Editor 2019.2 still there, and still not working. Can we make that disappear too!
Hi@educad.tlm,
Thanks for your feedback.
you already installed the update.
Could you please try this, it will disappear from Autodesk desktop app?
Exit Autodesk desktop app(from system tray menu)
Stop AdAppMgr Service(task manager)
%Programdata% > Autodesk > Delete the “SDS” folder
Restart Autodesk desktop app.
Please let me know if it works.
Regards,
Srinivas.
hi srinivas,
unfortunately the desktop app manager show me this on screen, and no stop.
Civil 3D 2020.2 Update 64-Bit Update finally installed with a regedit drive designation fix, but the 02-18-19: Infrastructure Parts Editor 2019.2 Update that never installed still lingers on. How can I remove from the update list, as it is probably outdated.
