3ds Max 2021 Fails to install. No internet connection

Good afternoon. 

I went to update my 3ds Max 2020 via the autodesk desktop app to 3ds Max 2021 and I receive the following error. 
"Download failed". At the bottom of the app it says "Unable to connect to the internet. Check your network connection and try again. I have attempted download several time with the same result. I also restarted the workstation and attempted the install again with the same results.

did you try downloading from your Autodesk Account?

I am having the same problems today too. Have just installed AutoCAD LT 2021 and thought to update my other programs and it says no internet connection.

download from your Autodesk Account instead of relying on the desktop app

Also keep in mind the entire Autodesk universe is like you trying to download all the shiny new software this week. Be patient.

Thanks for your feedback. it helped a lot, much appriciated.

 

Its time stamp issue. some time the client and server time are not in sync, this will happen. i am checking from our side. its inconsistant issue.

 

Please try this and then try to install the product.


Exit Autodesk desktop app(from system tray menu)
Stop AdAppMgr Service(task manager)
%Programdata% > Autodesk > Delete the “SDS” folder
Restart Autodesk desktop app.

 

or 

 

please install the product from accounts portal using browser download.
