Desktop App Remove install possibility

In our global Company we ise Desktop App to update our software. As we Only upgrade every second year we want to remove the install possibility from Desktop App as it will present the wrong versjon to us. We have our preconfigured software deployment in Software Center. So, please add possibility to turn of install functionality on admin basis for the entre software contact.

Until recently this was possible by using the Inventor Uninstall tool. It detected other applications installed by Autodesk software and removed those and any components that were also installed. However, the new ODIS technology is not currently able to support this.

If a customer installs Vault Server, it will install many components, such as SQL, IIS, C++ Runtime libraries to name but a few. See "Components installed by Autodesk Vault (Server and Client)" for examples.

Sometimes, installing Vault Server is unintended. If a decision is then made to completely uninstall Vault Server, customers expect that when they uninstall the Autodesk software it will also uninstall all the components that were installed at the same time. This is to revert the machine back to its original state. However, it only uninstalls Vault Server and not all the other 10+ components.

The alternative method to revert the machine back to its original state, is to revert to a previous snapshot or reinstall the OS. If other services\software are running on the server machine, that is not acceptable.
