Its high time that Autodesk move into the 21st century of software and release a single Autodesk Revit, CAD, Navis etc.... version that constantly gets updated instead of relying on model years that require new installations, model upgrades, and potential problems during integration, that are also not backwards compatible.   Im not exactly sure the reasoning for why there are still annual software versions of Autodesk products, but the fact that they release updates to each annual version tells me that it should be a fairly straightforward implementation. Would like to see options setting to set a default team so when logging in to the Autodesk Account it always starts on that team. Admins that have multiple teams have requested this feature because they have one main team but are defaulting to a team that they only need access to but are not managing on a regular basis. It seems the TAB to start a Support Request is no longer shown when you view Support Cases from the Account home screen. In user management, I have loads of "Guest" users because of ACC.  If those must be in the list for our account, at least make it more simple to turn those off.  Currently I have to go into the filter and turn on all the other roles but leave Guest blank to see just my people.  I suggest a simple button to turn on/off the guest users in the list.  Default to OFF.   Thank you.  Show More

Unlike earlier versions up to version 2020, custom installs/deployments with included service packs, language packs, and other components can only be created online for some years now. A downloader/web installer is then provided. This downloader must be run with "elevated rights" and needs Internet access, even if it is only a download.   Our company policy (and common sense) strictly prohibits Internet access for admin accounts. With that, we would be forced to download via private computers after every minor change, using USB drives between office and home. This not only time-consuming but forbidden in our company by policy too.   In our case, we run SCCM-triggered install/uninstall scripts for packages with all modules (basic setup, language packs, service packs, content packs, license configuration...) scripted, which is error-prone and leads to a high user frustration.   Please provide a way to download such "custom installs" via browser without the need of elevated rights or provide an offline configuration. Hello Autodesk, There is now the option in the account to set up an email ban for frequency of use for primary and secondary administrators. In large companies it is often the case that these administrators are part of the IT team and are usually not the active users of the software used. Often these administrators have not even installed the software used by the company. When Autodesk software is installed, Autodesk Access is installed and users are automatically notified when a new update is available for the software they are using. At the moment, administrators have to actively go into the Autodesk account and set the filter for product updates according to the software used in the company and then see whether new updates are available. The idea is now that the administrators can set up an update notification in the account. In the new entry in the account, the administrators should be able to set the filter in the same way as for product updates, then assign an email address and then set how frequently this email is sent. The possible frequency settings could be: - as soon as an update appears for the software set in the filter - once a week, if updates for the software set to filters are available, or every two or three weeks - once a month if updates for the software set to filters are available, or every two or three months There should also be an additional option so that when critical updates appear, a notification is sent immediately, regardless of the frequency set.   Best regards Elias Show More

As a CAD Manager, it’s often necessary for me to work on two machines simultaneously. When employees leave the company, I need to access their systems to check in files, a process that can take significant time to complete. Meanwhile, I’m unable to continue working on my own tasks, as Autodesk now limits active sessions to just one per user. I propose allowing users to be assigned multiple licenses for the same product. Since we are paying for these licenses, we should have the flexibility to utilize each one as needed. Currently, there is no option for this in the Manage portal, which restricts our productivity. Allowing access to all paid licenses would make a substantial difference in efficiency. Show More

Currently with the latest introduction to the Autodesk waiting room in the account portal, Primary Admins/Purchaser are the only individuals who can view and move New Subscriptions to a designated team in the account portal via the new waiting room feature. This creates an inconvenience for the secondary administrators who are truly facilitating the license management in the account portal, oftentimes the contract manager/purchaser for a customer/company is not managing the software but merely signing the check or issuing the purchase order to their reseller of record/partner. Allowing secondary admins to gain visibility of the waiting room and all new licenses that are purchased can help fill the gap that is currently missing with the new waiting room functionality which is meant to eliminate the cases that are created by partners or customers needing to move new purchases into the correct allocated team in the account portal.    Additionally, if there was a Power User Role that can be enabled it may be able to provide further rights or capabilities to admins who facilitate their end users software can help in this area.  Show More

Would be extremely helpful to add a column next to the expiration date of the Flex token contract to show the tokens used from that contract, that way the customer will know which tokens has been consumed from the contract that shows expired or even the contract that is not expired yet but the tokens has been consumed already. When a customer purchase tokens every couple month or so, it is hard to keep track which contract/tokens has been consumed. This will add a transparency and clearance on what is going on with the tokens purchase and consumption. Another option would be if the tokens are consumed on the contract, remove that contract form the account. Simple scenario is that, customer purchased 5000 tokens, consumed all in 3 month, then purchase another 5000 and so on, (12 month) later will get a notification/s that flex tokens contract expired and that create a confusion and panic situation that is not necessary. Hello, I would like to suggest the idea of a "sign out of (all) device(s)" feature in the security settings in the Autodesk account (https://profile.autodesk.com/security). Since Autodesk now mostly works on a model of *sign-in* licenses, it would be useful for users to be able to sign out of all devices as they often work on multiple machines. This would allow them to be sure that they are compliant with the terms & conditions by avoiding concurrent use on multiple machines. This feature is also present in all sorts of other online services offered by Google, Microsoft, PayPal, or Imgur (to name a few). The main purpose of this feature for these companies is to add one extra layer of security to their users' accounts. This sort of feature allows to remotely revoke an authentication token after changing the password of a potentially compromised account, and thus effectively kicking out any intruder. This could eventually be offered as a paid premium feature for admins wishing greater control of the licenses they assign to their users. The use-case of this feature would be: - User navigates to their profile settings page - Navigates to the security settings - There is either a button "sign out account of all devices" and all known devices will have to sign-in again - Or a list of known devices that are signed in (showing basic information to discern them such as device name and approximate location) - That list allows to selectively sign out specific devices Show More

Hi,   SSO (Single Sign On) which is available with Premium Plan and Enterprise Plan got last year in autumn (2021) an enhancement with Active Directory Group Sync. With Active Directory Group Sync you can sync your groups and users from your AD tenant, e.g. Microsoft Azure which is the most used IDP (Idenity Provider) as far as I know.   This idea is about to send an email to the primary administrator, and if possible configurable users that need the information when more users are synched to Autodesk Account within a synched group from the IDP than licenses are available. Within User Management, we need to be able to export users by group. This should be able to be accomplished in a couple different ways. Export all users and include a column that identifies the group so the spreadsheet can be sorted/filtered by group. Within each group, provide an export option to export only users within that group. It would be really really nice to be able to email the team or groups from the manage portal. So right now we have 1 team and 10 groups. In order to email these groups I have to maintain groups in Outlook to notify them of upgrades, or tweaks, reminders or a new procedure or feature. As we grow it becomes more difficult to keep these groups accurate especially as people come and go and we move people to different groups. Being every account/user is tied to an email address it would be fantastic if we could do this. SSO is not an option near term and I don't have enough experience if SSO would help. I think Autodesk should be much more transparent when someone starts using a Flex Token.  I was never told at any point that it was going to use a token, even when I logged into Fusion Team.  I also wasn’t told I was using tokens over the next few days after I logged out.   I have "used" 34 tokens over the last few months, but was never told at any point that I was using them.  I am currently working with support to figure out why I am STILL being charged tokens even after logging out over a month ago.   Again, I think Autodesk should be more transparent about when a user is going to be charged tokens, how much and how often.  Also, we should be told how to stop using tokens.  I have been working with support for over two months to get this issue resolved.
