Allow login via SSO and Password for selected Users and capability to Turn off SSO

SSO in DocuSign allows specific accounts to be set up for log in with Password (No SSO) or Both. Hence in DocuSign, I was able to set up the Administrator accounts to login with Both methods and User accounts with SSO only.

This is very useful if SSO stops working due to any reason, since it will allow an Administrator to log in to troubleshoot/turn off/recreate SSO.

Please consider this request for the development roadmap and I'll be happy to assist further if needed.

Kind regards,

Pradeep

Thanks for posting @pradeep_parmarZENEXA. Based on the current SSO setup, authentication is managed at the verified-domain level (company.com), and separate subdomains (admin.company.com) can be configured independently.

What does not appear to be available today is a password exception for selected administrator accounts that use the same SSO-enabled domain. Could you confirm that keeping those administrators on the same domain is essential to your recovery workflow, rather than using accounts on a separately managed subdomain?

I’d encourage others with the same administrator recovery requirement to vote and add their context.

Hi Andriana,
Thanks so much for your reply. Yes, I think keeping those administrators on the same domain is essential to your recovery workflow, rather than using accounts on a separately managed subdomain as it simplifies administration.
