2-step authentication is an important contribution to the secure use of systems. For this purpose, a mobile device is required for activation in Autodesk accounts today, either via an authentication app or SMS. Since designers and other employees in the company who use Autodesk software do not always have a company cell phone, and the use of private devices is not wanted or prohibited, it would be preferable if there were another option for activating 2-step authentication.
