For Plant Design Suite 2017, instead of Revit “Structure” only, PLEASE bundle the full Revit instead (Arch, Struct, & MEP).  This would be similar to what is included in the Building Design Suite.  Plant projects would greatly benefit from having the Arch and MEP capabilities of Revit included, and not just the Structure.    2016 Plant Suites only include Revit Structure. While auto-routing the program will list several routes to pick from.  If the user has scrolled into view the nozzle closely, there isn't a good way to zoom back out to see which route is picked.  Please make it so users can pan and zoom to see the whole route preview. Show More

When tag values are null or blank, they display a period or "?" in the tag annotation. We have a need to add additional columns to the Spec Viewer header. Even standard properties, already populated out of the box, would be useful to see in the header.   We do not always want all of these properties in the Long Description (and in the description box on the iso). Which is why the description style editor is not that useful here. However we need to see these properties in order to select the correct component while modeling.          Show More

  Iso Configuration allows to add a pipe extra-lenght in correspondance to Field Fit Weld (FFW). Good but not enough.   The "Cut Piece List" table available on Isometric, shows pipe lenght without considering the extra-lenght set up into Iso Config.   In my opinion extra-lenght have to be considered in Cut Piece List. I find very difficult in generating a clear ortho where there many lines in a particular area, the layout becomes more cumbersome if I show all the pipelines in double line. It would be very helpful, any optional feature developed in ortho for showing pipelines in single line. Show More

Hello.   The spec viewer only shows the long-description with the size and the details of S1. That is not enough for many Plant 3D users because they also use properties like "ItemCode" and more.   It would be very helpful and user friendly if we can customize the shown properties and also see the details of S2 (and S3).   Best regards.   Matthias Show More

Insulation is not coming when Plant3d is converted to non intelligent ( using Export to AutoCAD). The conversion is mainly for the taking the model for sending the drawing to vendors and for their use. Show More

I would like the ability to change the order of properties in the class editor and use this to display the order of properties for an object when using the properties palette.  It is extremely frustrating to create a properties for a class and then when a new one is created have to go into the database to change the order of the properties or to delete all of the properties and then recreate them.  It would just be easier to allow us the ability to control this order from the project setup. It would be nice to have the ability to change the component type (the graphics, where the connection type is displayed) in the Spec Editor, so you don't have to create new components all the time.   For example: I have created a flanged ball valve. Now I want the same valve again, but with a threaded connection. At the moment, I have to create a new component and put in all the diameters again. It would be much easier to just copy the valve I already have, change the component type to a valve with the same body, but with different end connections, and then just put in the diameters for the threaded connection, because all the other diameters are already there.   Would be good to have this soon. Is not possible to select a destination sub folder when creating a collaboration project.  By default, the project gets uploaded into the "project files" folder and then a subfolder for each project is created Within multi disciplinair projects it is preferable to place the project in a subfolder of the Process engineers.   Show More
