Dimensions for orthographic drawings in isometric perspective

Dimensions for orthographic drawings in isometric perspective

When creating orthographic views positioned in an isometric view perspective (current view option) the placed dimensions are incorrect. The workaround is similar to isometric drawings where the dimension text override must be used to manually key in the actual dimension from the model.

Thanks Jason,

This is the downside of 2D Iso projection drawings in general in that they cannot be scaled - since we rely on base AutoCAD dimensions and have a flat 2D Ortho view, we suffer the same problem that paper drawings do with respect to Iso projections.

To support this, we'll need to look into some Plant specific functionality to poll the model elements to get that info. Not impossible, but wanted to explain why it's not working already.

thanks!
