When opening a file from a fellow colleague it changes the piping to blocks and 3d solids. I think the problem is that i work in Autocad 2019 and he works in 2013.

are you opening the drawing directly or adding in the project?

Hi @990433003T4E9

If you are opening the file in plain AutoCAD then this is correct. You are not seeing the objects as plant items as they are proxy objects.

If you are opening it in Plant3D, is the file added to the project you are opening it in?

Hi,

Are you trying to open a drawing that your colleague has sent to you?

If so, they may well have exported their Plant drawing to AutoCAD to provide you with a visually accurate copy of the geometry only, so that it is viewable in standard AutoCAD.

Regards,

Andy
