Report Designer pipe and fittings with 2 OD

Good morning,

My name is Nicolas,

I am testing my custom catalog in Report Creator.

I´ve routed a few pipe to create a Report and see how the programm shows all the elements, i have pipes with different OD, for example pipe 250 mm diameter with OD 250 and 280, pipe 150 mm diameter with OD 160 and 180 and so on. In the report the pipe 250 mm routed with the 2 different OD appear as one, Report counts both of them together instead of separating them in 2 different rows, programm dont make distinction between different OD, the same happens to the rest of pipes and elbows.

In the Bill of Material of the pipes isometric everything is listed correctly, the table make distinction of different OD pipe at the moment of counting material.

I don´t know if anybody have the same problem as me and have solved it.

I attach 2 images and the Report PDF to explain the problem.

I followed all the instruction of the link that you sent to me, i changed the values but everythigns keeps the same

You should have a sort field for every column except quantity.

Thanks for your answer, according to your message i completed the rest of the configuration, now the Report Configuration separating pipes according to the different OD works correctly but now the Report is adding for example all the elbows of different diameters in only one adittion, the same happen to the rest of fittings and also the configuration of the template got misconfigurated.

Hi again,

I solved all the problems that i had with the Report Creator, but a new unexpected problem emerged, all the pipe are separated by diameter, that´s ok, but the programm has separated everysingle piece of pipe in the total amount, for example let´s imagine that i route 3 sections of pipe NS 250mm with 2 elbows, the Report don´t count the total amount of pipe of that size, Report counts separately everysingle section of pipe instead.

¿How can i solve this?.

Remove the weight and quantity sort fields. Anything you want a calculated sum of should not be a sort field. Sorry, I wasn't clear on that earlier.
