PlantProductionIso errors out with Process with and Id of .... is not running.

I'm trying to run isos in Plant 3d 2025, but I get this error regardless of the Project or Iso style. Anyone seen this and have a fix?

I run the PlantProductionIso command, select my iso style and lines and push Create. Shortly after, the dialog closes as normal, but I get the error above.

After trying different projects and styles, I went to repair the install, but found I only had the option to uninstall. I uninstalled the software and then redownloaded and reinstalled.

I opened the Sample Project, selected the 6-B-1000_Piping model, ran the PPI command, chose the top three lines and hit create and get the above error.

Im running this on a Windows 10 laptop that has been running versions 2019-2024 with no issues. I haven't noticed any other issues in 2025, it seems to run normal beyond the inability to run isos.

Any thoughts

A re-install alone did not help. I had to remove folders and registry entries of both AutoCAD and Plant3D and disable all anti-virus software for the installation.

IT seems that there is an error in the Iso.dwt. I have recreated this file from scratch and it is now working.

We just had this error appear on multiple workstations in our office. Uninstalling and reinstalling just Plant 3D did not fix it as was mentioned earlier. Since we run about every toolset and have custom add-ons installed as well, doing a clean uninstall/reïnstall of all the workstations would amount to several lost days 😞

A temporary workaround was to revert to the 2024 version and do the iso generation there.

I worked through it with Autodesk. it was the iso.dwt. we don't know what in it but making a new one worked.
