PlantProductionIso errors out with Process with and Id of .... is not running.

I'm trying to run isos in Plant 3d 2025, but I get this error regardless of the Project or Iso style. Anyone seen this and have a fix?

Application does not support just-in-time (JIT)
debugging. See the end of this message for details.

I run the PlantProductionIso command, select my iso style and lines and push Create. Shortly after, the dialog closes as normal, but I get the error above.

After trying different projects and styles, I went to repair the install, but found I only had the option to uninstall. I uninstalled the software and then redownloaded and reinstalled.

I opened the Sample Project, selected the 6-B-1000_Piping model, ran the PPI command, chose the top three lines and hit create and get the above error.

Im running this on a Windows 10 laptop that has been running versions 2019-2024 with no issues. I haven't noticed any other issues in 2025, it seems to run normal beyond the inability to run isos.

Any thoughts

Hello Matt

If you run a quick iso, is the problem the same?
Have you installed the Plant 3D 2025.0.1 update?

Si vous sortez un iso rapide, le problème est-il le même ?
Avez-vous installé la mise à jour Plant 3D 2025.0.1 ?

Hello Dominique,

Thank you.

I just verified that 2025.0.1 update was already installed.

Yes, I get the same results when running a quick iso.

I'm not sure of anything else to test, but happy to if there are any suggestions.

Is this on your Iso style or the OOTB ones?

Hello Matt

By running a quick iso on parts of the line, and not the entire line, is there the error?

En lançant un iso rapide sur des parties de la ligne, et non pas la ligne entière, y a t-il l'erreur ?

Thank you Tomislav and Dominique,

Currently, I'm running OOTB models and styles. It does happen with our models and styles as well.

It does not matter if I choose Production or Quick Isos.

Attached is a short video of the process and issue.

Is this only on your machine or on others also?

Just this machine

Can you try with another user profile on that same machine?

Good idea, I hadn't tested that, but still no luck.

I only had a single user on the computer so I needed to add another one.

I created a new local Admin user, signed in.

When I ran a Quick Iso on the same sample model, I get the same error.

Hi Matt,

somehow, P3D 2025 is always giving me faulty installations with strange error messages.
Uninstalling and reinstalling once has also helped me.

Hello Matt

If you have a 2024 version on the same workstation, do you encounter the same problem in the isometric output?

Si vous avez une version 2024 sur le même poste est-ce que vous rencontrez le même problème dans la sortie isométrique ?

From the error message, I'd first try to rule out an antivirus issue. Have you tried disabling it temporarily to see if the issue persists?

Thanks Hartmut, I will try again with a full cleanup after the uninstall.

Thanks Jason,
I disabled my main AV, but I think Windows Defender was on. I'll double-check when I re-install after a full cleanup.

After another uninstall of Plant 3d 2025 and AutoCAD 2025, I removed all Folders and Registry settings for AutoCAD and P3D 2025. I removed my AV and disabled Windows Defender and reinstalled both AutoCAD and P3D.

At that point everything was finally working again.

Thank you Everyone for your help.

In my house we have two versions of Plant 3D 2025 student version, and both versions, on different machines, we have the same problem.
When generating isometrics the same error window appears. I have reinstalled Plant 3D twice with the same result.
